Research Intern

We are looking for Research Interns to be part of an incredible documentary that just may change the world for the better. Perfect for a recent college graduate that wants to learn about the world of documentary film making and television production. Without giving away too much, ours is a serious, funded documentary about the serious issues facing our planet: climate change & global warming, poverty, peak oil. Fascinating and critical, this is the kind of project that could help change the world for the better (really).

Duties include: assisting producers and office staff, general research, organizing. This is NOT a directing, producing or editing job. But if you want to be one some day, it could be for you.

Here are the things you’ll need to apply:

1) Book Smarts: on the way to a four-year degree with an interest in documentary and television production. A love of reading and research. Interest/knowledge in environmental issues a huge plus.

2) People Smarts: you remain cool under pressure, pleasant, and respectful.

3) Real-world Smarts: common sense is a must, computer saavy (email, internet, word, excel). Good communicator. Knowlege about and passion for environmental issues is a huge plus.

4) Drive & Commitment: this is a summer internship, with a two or three month commitment. Hours and days flexible but regular.

Working out of our office in Marina del Rey. The position starts immediately and is ongoing. This is an unpaid internship.
